would you help me ?
____ our financial goals for this year may require cutting back on some overhead costs.
(A) Bringing (B) Helping (C) Maintaining (D) Promoting
Which is mostly pertinent for blank ?
And why ?
this question drive me crazy! T.T
Better than those words, I would say
"to meet our financial goals this year"...
But of your choices, C is better. It could be that you met your goals last year, and you want to maintain that effort which has been successful thus far.

Probably C.
Definitely not bringing, this would be incorrect grammar.
Grammatically the other two work, but from the context, 'maintaining' fits best.

My choice would be C. Why? Um probably because it is more commonly said that way. Technically any answer isn't wrong but I'm guessing it is asking for which one fits best.
