die Wolken - Es gibt dunkle Wolken.
die Wolke - Es gibt eine dunkle Wolke.
der Tisch - Es gibt einen dunklen Tisch.
das Auto - Es gibt ein dunkles Auto.

Die Wolke (/Der Tisch /Das Auto) ist dunkel.
Die Wolken (/Tische /Autos) sind dunkel.
