Which one is correct?
a) I didn't dare tell her.
b) I didn't dare to tell her.

Both are correct.
You would hear "a" much more often.

I hear people saying it both ways. I think this is a personal choice issue. For example, if I were writing a story, I might mix them up in my characters' dialog to avoid the monotony of repetition.
