The meaning of "It could go either way for me"
I am wondering what is the meaning of "It could go either way for me".
I would be thankful if someone help me with that.

There are two possibilities (something happens or doesn't happen, for example).
"It could go either way" means that the two possibilities have roughly equal chance of happening.
A game between two equal teams is being played.
"Who will win? They are tied."
"I don't know. It would go either way."
