When does 바라다 become 바래요? Hello, I run into this sentence: 항상 행복하길 바래. At first, I thought the dictionary form of 바래 is 바래다 but looking at Naver's definition of 바래다, it doesn't seem right. After some googling, I found out that 바래 there is from 바라다. Why does it become 바래 and not 바라? Thank you and have a nice day~~

Right sentence is "항상 행복하길 바라" "바래/바라" is confuse many people even native Korean... most people is using "바래" even though it was wrong. 바라 is hoping something, and 바래 is losing color. totally different definition. So... 바라 become 바라다&바라요. 바래 become 바래다&바래요.
