One of the original meanings of 粗 is "careless". 野 here means "uncultured". 粗野 isn't an appropriate word to express "physically violent". If someone acted inhumanly, here's a vivid word for you to express "rude like a monster": 禽兽不如. Literally translating: worse than a monster. 你怎么可以那样做? 你真是禽兽不如! How could you do that! Hi , Ghooprn . Actually 粗野(cu1 ye3 ) doesn't be used that much , which means we never use it even though it exists . And 野蛮(ye3 man2) which means rude like a wild animal would be better. So if you want to say that somebody is really rude just like a monster, I'd better use 野蛮. 粗暴(cu1 bao4) means rude , too . In a human way , describe the rude attitude of people ,sometimes means kind of like hardcore . So you'd better use it carefully . And the second question , replaced 粗野 to 野蛮 , 他野蛮死了 means He's so damn rude , and 他真野蛮 means He's so rude .
