Acrimonious... Ex: An acrimonious divorce. I know the meaning of the word 'Acrimonious' - but what's the meaning of this sentence? Thank you.

Probably the opposite of harmonious. So in this example it means a divorce that was full of ill feeling, fighting, and nastiness. Not harmonious.
