"הייתה לי פגישה" ???
הייתה here because of פגישה?? I mean because of פגישה, so use הייתה? right?All right ! I got a sentence is הייתה לי פגישה. why is הייתה not הייתי? so I guess , because פגישה is female word, so use הייתה. I do not know it is right or wrong

"היתה לי פגישה" I had a meeting
"הייתי בפגישה"= I was in a meeting
In the first one you speaking about the meeting and its female as you said
In the second one we speak about us, that we were in the meeting. that why it's different.
