도착하다 거나 다다르다 도착하다 거나 다다르다. 어떻게 뜻이 달라요? 집에 다다라요. 집에 도착해요. Does 다다르다 always require a destination? Is 다다르다 really just a regular verb? I mean it doesn't seem to be a 르 irregular.

~에 도착하다 to reach a place or arrive at a place. ~에 다다르다 to reach a place or a level almost but not yet. 다다르다 is '으' irregular verb.

If you confuse those, get the past tense of verb. 그는 집에 도착했다. I reached home (He is at home) 그는 집에 다다랐다. I almost approached home (He isn't at home yet)
