What does fling mean in this sentence?
I thought I found a love but she was just a fling, then I meet a girl and felt a different thing.

You might like to know that to fling usually means to toss easily or carelessly. And so there is a feeling of throw away love, temporary love.

Fling = adventure of love, playing love, other trouble love.
In spanish we said sólo fue un "amor de centavo" or it was a "llamarada de petate"
"comenzó y terminó en menos de lo que canta un gallo" jejeje
