Difference between たいだい and すこし What's the difference between these two adverbs? I know that both mean "a few" and are used in positive sentences. Is it possible than one is stonger than the other? Could you explain me why? Thank you!

(It is almost right what you say.) In this situation, it means "about" 例 その部屋にはだいたい50人ぐらいいた。 There are about 50 people in the room.

The meaning of だいたい and すこし is totally different. And both are used in positive and negative sentences. すこし = a little, a bit, a few, slightly eg: I am a little hungry. I am not interested in it even a bit. だいたい = about, around eg: My height is about 180 cm. I don't think I can get there around 6 pm.

There is a clear difference between 「だいたい」and「すこし」. yes you are right that 「すこし」means a few, a little. or you could also say a small amount which means 「すこし」. 「だいたい」means about or approximately. Hope it helps :P
