When saying "Jal gayo" How do you use it jal gayo? it means good bye but in what scenario do you use it in?

Basing on what I researched, "Jal-ga" is the informal form of saying "Annyong-hi gaseyo" (saying goodbye to people who're leaving whereas you're staying) Example: In a party, your the host, then your visitors will now then leave. So, you're going to say "Annyong-hi gaseyo" for formal and "Jal-ga" for informal.
