hola hola,
Bueno para poder traducir esta frase, depende mucho del contexto, algunas opciones pueden ser:
Esta/es: genial, fabuloso, estupendo, grandioso (para expresar estar a gusto con algo)

The ONLY translation "to be great" has is: "ser genial". Obviously there are so many synonyms for that word, like "fantastic" (fantastico), "awesome" (asombroso), "amazing" (increible), "spectacular" (espectacular), "splendid" (espléndido), and so on. But the best (and only translation for that specific phrase you said, is "(ésto/éso/aquéllo) es genial". Of course, if you feel more emotiona t the moment to say "it's great", you could change the translation to adecue it for that specific situation, but as I said, "(ésto/éso/aquéllo) es genial" is the right translation. Good luck!

Hi,
Initially I wanted to say, "I finally found what I was looking for (and I name the thing), that's great.
Can I say "es grande"? Chèvere I have never heard, is it typical to Latin America or to Spain too?
