Question on using the reduplication of two-syllable adjectives. Can someone please explain the use of the reduplication of two-syllable adjectives, like piàopiàoliangliang (漂漂亮亮) and gāngānjìnggānjìng (干干净净). I believe it is referred to as the AABB pattern. I am not familiar with this sentence pattern and thus would like to know when this should be used.

Hi Jimmy, I think your question is posted to the wrong section. Anyway, I am not good at explaining it but I would say it means "very" something. And I think only certain adjectives can use this pattern, like 快快乐乐, 舒舒服服, 高高兴兴, etc.
