What do you think of when you hear or see "Made in China"? Have you ever used products made in China? What do you think about its quality and price? I really want to know what people think of products made in China from all over the world. I would be very appreciative if you would reply.

I think this seems like it would be a better discussion question - you'll get more responses. Here it's just for quick questions usually to do with language.

Hello Max, I want to give you an honest answer. I sincerely do not intend to offend you or any other Chinese person. When I see made in China, I think of low-quality goods made cheaply in poor working conditions. If I want something that is more or less disposable, made in China is fine. If I want something that will last, I look for something made in the USA, Western Europe, etc. What is interesting now is that labor is becoming more expensive in China, so now I'm seeing cheap clothes made in Honduras and Bangladesh.

Many Chinese products are cheap but of poor quality, for example Chinese shoes are disponsable products, you can't compare Colombian leather shoes that will last you many years, with a Chinese shoes, that you have to throw it away in a month. Some Chinese products are beautiful like porcelain tableware.

My Spyder ski jacket was made in China. Has been ok for eight years apart from one broken zip. I showed my students a koala bear last week. I bought it in Australia but it was made in China. So it has gone from China to Australia to England and back to China. A well travelled koala!
