i want to say "what is your plan for today?"
오늘 뭐 할꺼야?
오늘 뭐 하세요?
please let me know also whether the sentence is fomal or informal. 감사합니다!

Both are informal, and you can say "오늘 뭐 할 거야?" to close friends.:)
"오늘 뭐 하세요?" is a polite form of "할 거야?"
