There was too much noise in the room. : Il y avait trop de bruit dans la pièce.
How to say "I don't care" in french : Je m'en fous !
How to talk about past for example in English we say
I used to work in a factory : J'avais l'habitude de travailler dans une usine.
I used to play soccer when i was young. : J'avais l'habitude de jouer au soccer quand j'étais jeune. (ça c'est plus une traduction mot à mot... dans la vie de tous les jours j'aurais plutôt dit : J'ai joué au soccer enfant.)
How to say "Whose" in french : dont
I met a man whose name was Mike : J'ai rencontré un homme dont le nom était Mike.
How to say "He told me" in french : Il m'a dit.
Il a me dit or il a dit moi // non c'est : Il m'a dit.
Il a m'aidé or il a aidé moi // non c'est Il m'a aidé -> on accorde le participe passé aidé au féminin au besoin. Donc si c'est une femme qui parle : Il m'a aidée.
