Hi! Could someone tell me what's the difference between 'like' and 'as' ? My doubt is about the correct use in a comparative way

Like = almost the same, but not exactly. As = exactly the same.

"Like" is used for general comparison, such as "fly like an eagle". "As" is used to compare specific properties, such as "dark as night".
