Seguro/segura Even though I'm female, I feel awkward saying 'segura' instead of 'seguro' in phrases like 'Seguro que no pasa nada' or 'Seguro que vendrá mañana.' For some reason, 'segura' sounds funny, and I feel like I don't hear many Spanish speakers, whether female or male, using it in that context. But since I'm not a native speaker, I could be wrong… Can someone help me? Thanks!

- Yo estoy segura ("yo", woman, is the subject of the sentence) - Seguro que no pasa nada. ("que no pasa nada" is the subject of the sentence, not "yo" or "ella")

In this case we don't use the femenine form. The correct way of saying it is like you wrote it. "Seguro que no pasa nada", " Seguro que vendrá mañana". I guess that this might be a short form of "Es seguro que no pasa nada" and "Es seguro que vendrá mañana", so the adjetive "seguro" refers to the situation but not the person who says it. I don't think that it comes from "Estoy seguro/a que no pasa nada" or "Estoy seguro/a que vendrá mañana". But all this is just a guess. However, I can assure you that we don't use the femenine form in these cases.

it is correct as you wrote it, in this case you need to use "seguro" not "segura" because you're saying IT IS SURE SHE/HE WILL COME TOMORROW" (Literally: Sure that she/he will come tomorrow) You're not saying I'M SURE SHE/HE WILL COME TOMORROW. You're neither using a pronoun nor a verb, and you're not using a noun that specifies a gender, so you have to write it as if you were talking about a man. (masculine form) we always use masculine form when we're not specifying a gender. if you want to say: I'm sure she will come tomorrow (Estoy SEGURA que vendrá mañana), you have to use the famenine form because you're talking about yourself, and you're a woman. But in this case you're not using a femenine or masculine form to say it because you're not talking about yourself or about any specific person or object. Hope it helps! :)

So estas preguntando a Una mujer: estate usted segura que vendra maniana ( correcto) Si estas preguntando a in hombre: estas seguro que vendra maniana ( correcto) En general: LA palabra seguro es mas referida a Una situacion y LA situation no tiene generous masculino o femenino, pero so preguntas a Una persona (hombre o mujer) entrances seguro o segura aplica.
