There are LOTS of teachers on here. Many have good qualifications and a lot of experience. Click on a few... and see if you like them. Check out the 'student feedback.' See what other students have said. Choose your price range. There are GOOD teachers who have LOW fees (possibly they live in a country where the cost of living is low... so their fees can be low!) So check the teachers out. Watch their introductory videos. Check their qualifications (italki uploads their certificates for you to see). Have a trial lesson. italki holds the money in a central fund. It is only given to the teacher AFTER the lesson is confirmed. italki charge the teacher 15%. If the lesson is cancelled by the teacher the money will be refunded to you. If YOU miss a lesson you might not get your money back! It depends! So check out italki's rules. But it's a pretty good system. It works well for thousands of students.
