Something difficult to me Hello. How can I say about broken heart (fragments of the heart): "Parts of the whole" "Pieces of the whole" or? Which is correct? Or your example please.

One can say anything they want in the context of descriptive language. Usually, people refer to a broken heart as a "broken heart". No further description is needed.
