I want to tell my friend that the city I will be living in is 1 hr away by car from Toronto. << is correct So if someone askes you how long your city is from another city. Would you tell him this way? So if someone asks you how far your city is from another city... or So if someone asks you how long it takes to travel from another city to yours... Finally, I would simply tell him. I will be living 60 miles or about 1 hour away.
