I am learning Russian in an app ,say,

I think English has a VERY strange R, and I'd be surprised if you're actually pronouncing an R in the native English manner. The Russian R is really quite different.

Because the Russian R is a rolled r like in Spanish :) also its more like zdrasttvoyte (its one of the only words with a silent v in Russian.)
