Is there any proverb like this in English?
A donkey doesn't even fall in a hole twice.
It means someone must not make the same mistake twice.

Yes.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
There's another one similar, but I can' think of it at the moment.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I am not sure if it is English, but I have heard it. It means that you can fall for someone's tricks once, but if they trick you twice, then it is your fault.
