Hay una diferencia entre "muro" y "pared"?

Hola,
La pared se utiliza mas cuando hablamos de una casa, una oficina, es por asi decirlo los muros interiores de un edificio. El muro lo utilizamos mas cuando esta al aire libre

Si quisieras usar alguna de estas palabras en relación a Facebook, la que usamos en Mexico es "muro". "Me pase la mañana revisando mi muro" Saludos.

I believe "muro" refers to a thick wall, often made of brick, block or stone. "pared" is more like a wall in a house.

Son sinónimos. En México, "muro" es el término técnico.
