What's the meaning of be gutted?
1. I'm gutted that this time round my knee isn't up to it.
2.We're gutted that he won't be playing in this game.
So does "be gutted" means regret? Are there any examples of the common use of the word GUT? Thank yo all!

Slang like gutted is much stronger than disappointed, it means inconsolable or very, very upset.
