Which one is correct?

These would be my choices
My co-workers and I always go out for lunch on Fridays
My co-workers and I go out for lunch every Friday.

Here's a more general point: After the word "every," never use the plural, only use the singular.

I agree with Andy's examples. 'Always' and every 'give' the same information. You don't need both in the same sentence.
