How to start in French from point zero? I have a good command of English and am pretty stable in Spanish, so it sure would be easier for me than for somebody without spanish knowledge. The thing though is, in Spanish and English I had a teacher that guided me and gave me instructions... and in French I don't really know how to go about it. Thanks for all your tips! :)

Try buying a phrasebook like assimil(which i highly recommend) or lonely planet and be sure to have regular sessions here on italki or just generally talking in french as much as you can. If you want you could check out free options like omniglot or memrise for useful phrases first before buying a phrasebook too.

I would say to visit website like Duolingo or Memrise, it's free and very helpful at the beginning.

On italki you can start with a teacher and then learn by yourself
