Learning Turkish Hello everyone I started learning Turkish I found two phrases 1- ismim 2- Benim adim Are they the same? What is the difference?

Ad and isim are the same. Adım/ismim is enough to understand it's "my name" but when you want to emphasize "my", you add "benim". A: Adın ne? (No need to add "senin") B: Adım Fog. Senin adın ne? (Second person add "senin") A: Benim adım da Hasha. (That "da" here indicates "and" like "and my name ...")

ad=isim. Thus they are all same, though "Benim adım..." is just a bit more usual.
