Chinese~Japanese Learning portuguese helps learning spanish, and "vice-versa". Does Learning chinese(mandarim) helps learning japanese?

yes Learning portuguese helps learning spanish and italy learn arabic help laerning persian learn chinese help learning korean also ************ Learning chinese(mandarim) helps learning japanese because there are similaire writting (kanji)

In my opinion, Chinse and Japanese are totally diffarent languages, even we have common in the characters and vocaburaly. You will understnad that Chinse and Japanese can not communicate eachother while portuguese and spanish can. And for me, Chinese is very hard for me to learn - vice-versa.

There is many kanji change from chinese, and have the same mean. But now, more and more Japanese change from other countries' language. E.g.: English. German and French. Anyway, i think japanese is really very hard to learn for me, ha~~

learning chinese can help you with learning japanese kanji,and some of the characters sounds similar,but our grammar are totally different.as a chinese ,learning japanese is very hard for me as well ..
