Can you create a causative potential form in japanese? I know that you can create causative verbs by doing this: 行く -> 行かせる But, could I create a causative potential verb? First transforming to potential and then to causative. Or to do it you procede the other way around. 行く -> 行ける -> 行けさせる 行く -> 行くことができる -> 行くことができさせる Thanks! :)

I'm not quite sure myself, but this discussion seems to go into depth about it: http://www.imabi.net/apps/forums/topics/show/9242360 Good question, now I'm curious myself! :)

Grammatically, it would be 行かせられる、たべさせられる、読ませられる for "causative + potential" but some of them have the same form for "causative + passive", for example, たべさせられる. So I would use 行かせることができる、食べさせることができる、読ませることができる. I hope this was helpful
