Why in Arabic language objects were classified into masculine and feminine and not neuter gender?
In English, we usually bring objects under neuter gender commonly. But that is not the case in Arabic. My questions are...
1.Why objects are classified into masculine and feminine?
2. On what basis objects were made as masculine and feminine, I mean I don't understand why some are masculine and others feminine? For instance, book is masculine and not feminine, a car is feminine but not masculine, watch is feminine and stone is masculine and so on.. what is the reason for that, this particular object should be masculine and not feminine and vice verse..??
