at first/ firstly/ in the beginning/ At the beginning I understand they are not interchangeable. But do they work like this? At first= at the beginning They are independent of the sentence. For ex. At first I didnt know the answer, then I was told. In the beginning = in the origins ???? Firstly = in the first place Thansk
