What is a leash called? I cannot find a word in the dictionary that means a leash like you would use on a pet.

Hi Alanna, My British friend has a dog and she calls a leash as ‘lead’. In Japan, natives call it “li-i-do” which means ‘lead’ as well. I hope this helps.
