When and how can I use "兑换“? Please could you give me an example sentence?
Can 兑换 only be used when talking about money, or can in be used in other situations too? :)

兑换 can be translated into "exchange". BUT DO REMEMBER, in modern Chinese , 兑换 is mostly used with money, not like the English word "exchange" using in other circumstances.
e.g. 1、英国脱欧之后,很多英国人都想把手中的英镑兑换成其他强势货币吗?
2、从大陆过了海关到澳门,我做的第一件事就是去把人民币兑换成澳门币。
However, if you see 兑换 not to be used with money, don't judge it at once. Maybe the ancient Chinese tolerates 兑换's other meaning just like "exchange" in English.
e.g. 清 李渔《闲情偶寄·词曲·格局》:“生、旦合为夫妇,外与老旦非充父母,即作翁姑,此常格也;然遇情事变更,势难仍旧,不得不通融兑换而用之。 here 兑换 means 交换、对换。
By the way, I hope you can tell me how to use exchange correctly in English~ THX

hello
兌 is a rare word in modern Chinese, we wouldn't use it alone, and we often combine it with other words, and it's often involved in money
here 兌and 換 are the same meaning, means exchange or replacement, and when we put it together, it is to emphasize that you have a "right" to exchange , especially when you hold a paper, ticket , coupon, check in your hand. Sometimes it implies that you can exchange it for better things or other things.
e.g.
when you go to a shop, talk to the clerk
我要兌換獎品
it means you've possessed a thing and you want to exchange it for the gift. What you've possessed may be a ticket, coupon or paper
and when you say
我要換獎品
it means you've got the gift and you want to exchange a new one
and when you go to the bank
我要兌換支票
it means you've had a check and you want to exchange it for cash
我要換支票
it means you've had a check and you want to exchange for a new check
