newER or MORE new??
I know this is a single syllable word but I just wanna make sure i'm not wrong. because I saw in an English site this is used as More new and i was wondered how is it possible?

"Newer" definitely sounds better. I can understand what "more new" means but it sounds strange.

Both are correct, but I hear "newer" used a lot more often.
