Dans cette photo ou sur cette photo?
Which one is correct? I would say "dans" but it seems that it is wrong

Both are correct but with different meanings.
In general, you are talking about the picture, the support and you use "sur".
But sometimes you may want to talk about the theme, the art, and you will use "dans", the same way you talk about paintings ("dans cette peinture").

hi,
I would say that the two are correcte but "sur" is more litterally correct, but when speaking the two are correct.

"Sur cette photo" is correct. :)
But sometimes, some people say "Dans cette photo" even if they are native speakers, but it's more common and correct to say "Sur cette photo".
