A hard learner? wrong expression? 1. If one works hard on learning everything new, Can I say A)/B) sentence as below? 甚至在聖誕節假期中,他也很努力在學習 A) He is a hard learner even during Christmas vacations. B) He works hard on learning everything new even during Christmas vacations. 2. who responded me as below, does it mean that I created a phrase of 'a hard learner'? which I said 'a hard learner' is wrong that I guess? 请问在这里make up的意思? I looked up the dictionary, but I'm not sure that my thoughts is right or not. 'a hard learner' is something you made up. 3. 如果hard learner,不能描述一个人很努力学习,那会是什么意思呢? Thank you so much for your patience.

Hi, I would not suggest saying "Hard learner". It is not clear and one could also understand it as "He has a hard time learning". Also, it is unnatural. "He works hard to learn new things" is the most natural answer, though if I had to choose one of yours it would be (B) Hope this helped!

"Hard learner" is not a very good way to say it. It is not clear. So use, B: (He works hard on learning everything new even during Christmas vacations).
