Word for Peace and Tranquility in Japanese? I'm trying to look up a good synonym in Japanese for the English word "halcyon" which means peaceful or tranquil. Does anyone know a good word for that in Japanese?

It depends on context. (exp. halcyon days=小春日和こはるびより). But if you want to use this as an adj, おだやかな、のどかな、うららかな、平和な、牧歌的な would do.
