¿Como se dice “snowblower“ en español? Según de buscadas de Google, un quitanieves es un gran aparato montado a frente de un camión. Un quitanieves es llamada “a snowplow” in English. En inglés, un ”snowblower” o ”snowthrower” es una pequeña maquina para quitar nieves. Lo tiene 45-60 cm de ancho. El operador lo guía, y camina lo detrás. Hola, Dan No recuerdo haber visto ese aparato aquí en España. Probablemente muy pocas personas dispongan de uno en los países de habla hispana (no nieva tanto como en norteamérica), y aquellos que lo tengan quizá usen el nombre en inglés o alguna fórmula como "quitanieves casero" o algo así. Para los países sin estaciones (i.e. latinoamerica sobre el ecuador)no creo que exista una palabra para "snowblower" porque es muy raro! Buscando en internet en Argentina y Chile le llaman quitanieves Saludos, Yesid

In latin america it's not vey used, since it doesn't snow very much over there. Here in Spain it snows in the north but not as much as in the US and Canada. And I have not seen that "snowblower" that you are talking about. You could translate it into "quitanieves" wich is the truck itself, the tool that is infront of this truck , and probably this snowblower , beacuse after all, it takes out the snow, hence "quita-nieve" . Hope it helps
