This is a spelling error. It should be 'ad hoc'. It is not a football term. Ad hoc competitions means that competitions will be created to suit the event. These competitions are probably not yet 100% confirmed or finalised in a lot of detail. They will be finalised based on the conditions closer to the time of the event. Another way to write the sentence, with a similar meaning would be 'Gaming challenges and various competitions'.
