Which of these words doesn't collocate with the verb? Hello. I'll be very grateful if somebody help me out, please. I can see even part of slogan for the "KitKat", but I really don't see the correct answers. Exercise text (except for the completed tasks, of course): "Cross out the noun or noun phrase that does not collocate with the verb in the word web. 4. give -> fun; a ring; a talk; directions; instructions; 5. have -> a dream; a good time; a break; care; trouble". Moreover, I have a little doubt that "a noise" doesn't collocate with "take". Although I just can't come up with an action that is indicated by this combination of words. Thank you in advance. P.S. Sorry for my English.

Hi. I would like to try to help. I am not sure I am perfectly clear but I will give you the collocations we would commonly use in English. Have fun, have a talk (like have a chat), have a dream, have a good time, have trouble Give you a ring (a telephone call), give a talk (means you present to others), give directions, give instructions Take a break, take care (used a salutation/goodbye) Noise....I am not sure what you mean here. I would say, "I hear a noise." Let me know if you have more questions, and I will try to help! :) Good luck in your studies!

First off 'make a noise' Second, I guess you want one of the nouns for qs 4 and 5 that does not fit: 4= Fun 5= Not so clear. I would say care. But, I have used all of those nouns with have
