Can I replace "during the course of ..." with "over the course of .." ?
Hi friends,
Can I replace the phrase "during the course of ......." with "over the course of .........."? Are the following sentences correct?
1) We have received your CV and you will be contacted over the course of next week.
2) She has made so many mistakes over the course of the past 02 months.
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, if there will be only a single contact, "over" in the first one is a bit lazy and a bit unnatural though the meaning is clear. A single contact happens "during" or "in" a period, not "over" or "throughout" a period.
