What does lb mean here? Hello, I'm trying to translate a manual for an electrical power controller, I can't figure out what is the meaning of "lb". The following is a description of a function: "Load history: display of the number of VIP operating hours in the third current range, depending on the Ib operating current setting."

I'm sorry that I have no idea what it means but would it help you to know that it is not a lower case L, but an upper case i.

Lb is short for pound (unit of weight). If this doesn't make sense here, then the usage is very technical. The clause which starts with "depending" has no obvious meaning. The use of "operating" may be wrong.
