Michael Swan vs Raymond Murphy (question to teachers)
I'm choosing between an Oxford grammar textbook series (Michael Swan) and a Cambridge series (Raymond Murphy). I've already had some experience with Swan (really liked it) but at the same time, the most of the English-language learners use Murphy's books. Which one would you recommend? Thank you for your time and help :)
Oxford grammar textbook series:
Michael Swan, Catherine Walter. Oxford English Grammar Course (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
+ Michael Swan. Practical English Usage + Michael Swan, David Baker. Grammar Scan
+ Michael Swan, Catherine Walter. How English works (I've already passed this one and found it very helpful)
Cambridge grammar textbook series:
Raymond Murphy. Essential Grammar in Use (Basic)
Raymond Murphy. English Grammar in Use (Intermediate)
Martin Hewings. Advanced Grammar in Use
