What does "beckon" mean?
What is the most frequently meaning a verb beckon?
Please, give me a couple of examples, when you use it in daily live.
I have some troubles with understanding common examples in the internet.
Foe example,
I'm going to really beckon.
I didn't grasp it.

It means to ask someone to come to you.
"He beckoned them to the shore."
"She beckoned the waiter to come over."
It is a somewhat old-fashioned word and not commonly used in everyday English.
