Anyone has taken the Oxford Online Placement Test by Italki? I would like to know if anyone could give some advice about the Oxford online placement test offered by Italki in terms of difficulty, length and usefulness. Thanks a lot, Marta

There are a lot of audio clips you have to listen to, with different accents. Like Vlad mentioned, the questions don't always relate to facts, but sometimes to feelings/intentions. Overall, I didn't find it too difficult though. I took the test at 4 in the morning, when I was up with a tooth ache, waiting for my pain medication to kick in, and was able to get a good score. :)

It left an odd impression on me. The first part (Use of English, which was actually mostly about vocabulary) seemed extra easy. The second part (Listening) was weird. Even though the speakers were easy to understand, only a handful of the questions bore on the facts presented in the recordings, most of them bore on feelings, intentions, thoughts and other things not directly mentioned.

So there's no writing or gapped reading? It's not like a proper CPE, is it?
