Are both OK? We hope for good weather on the wekend. We are hoping for good weather on Sunday.

The second sentence is acceptable, although the first sentence has some errors. You misspelled "weekend", and although "We hope for good weather this weekend" is grammatically-correct, it would sound more natural to say "we are hoping for ...."
