In what sense ?
The word "suck" has many senses. Conjugated in the third person ( it sucks ) means: ¡ eso apesta !
but it's slang.

There are many slangs you can use to interpret the expression. Expressions must not be translated literally because they have equivalent expressions in other languages and they can vary from country to country (i'm from mexico)
- I won't go to the party because i'm sick...
* It sucks!....well, see you at school
- No iré a la fiesta porque estoy enfermo...
* Que mal plan/Que mala onda...bueno, nos vemos en la escuela
- I was robbed last night....
* it's sucks, but are you ok?
- Me asaltaron anoche....
*Que mala onda/ Que mal plan, pero estás bien?
- Sucks! I spilled the water on the keyboard!
- Futa!, tiré el agua en el teclado
