What's the difference between two sentences? How do you think the kids would manage without working toilets, running water or electricity? I think they'd find it difficult at first, but something they'd appreciate in the end. How do you think the kids would manage without working toilets, running water or electricity? I think they'd find it difficult at first, but they would appreciate the experiences. What's the difference between two sentences? Is the same meaning? Thanks a lot.

They both carry essentially the same meaning. Both sentences sound a little awkward though. I'd write it like this: "I think they'd find it difficult at first, but in the end would appreciate the experience."
